$200.00$390.00

In this course, students will learn Classical Latin and develop an understanding of Roman Civilization using the Cambridge Latin Course (CLC).

In the first semester we will travel “back almost 2000 years to AD 79, a time when the Roman Empire controlled much of Europe. The magnificent city of Rome is the center of the Roman Empire and 125 miles to the south is the beautiful Bay of Naples, the slumbering Mount Vesuvius, and the prosperous Roman town of Pompeii.”

In the second semester, “we travel to two distinct Roman provinces, both very different from each other. Exotic Egypt will be the final destination, but first explore a Roman province on the very edge of the Empire where it is cold and wet. Welcome to Britannia!” (CLC)

  1. Camille

After studying Latin for 2 years using the Henle curriculum through Classical Conversations, this class has been a breath of fresh air for my 9th-grade daughter! The Cambridge text used is so much easier and more interesting than the rote memorization of Henle. Mr. King provides excellent feedback on assignments. He is encouraging and helpful when assistance is needed. There is a curve to learning the Canvas platform, but once we figure it out, it was smooth sailing. Great value for the money and a great Latin class!
