Description
The Kentucky Derby is America’s most famous horse race, and it is just as much fun for kids as it is for adults. In this mini unit study you’ll learn about the history of the race as well as famous horses, jockeys, traditions, and a whole lot more. We’ve even included activities for making your own garland of roses, mint juleps and derby hats!
A mini unit study is just one module and will take students approximately one week to complete, but as you have lifetime access, you can take as long as you want!
Recommended age: 4th-8th grade
